To support our growth, we are looking for an Integration & Deployment Engineer to strengthen our technical team and play a key role in the deployment and operational follow-up of our solutions.

Your role

As Integration & Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, integrating and maintaining Indao’s solutions in customer environments.

You will analyse the customer’s technical infrastructure, define the right deployment approach, connect our application to different data sources, set up monitoring and alerting, and ensure proper follow-up after deployment.

This role combines infrastructure, software deployment, data integration, industrial IT and customer-facing technical ownership. You will work closely with the CTO, the engineering team, project teams and customers.

We are looking for a medior or senior profile with several years of relevant experience and a strong ability to work autonomously.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Indao’s application in customer environments, whether cloud, hybrid or on-premise.
• Analyse customer infrastructure and define how the solution should be installed, connected, secured and maintained.
• Connect the application to various data sources, such as relational databases, time-series databases, industrial systems, APIs, PLC-related environments or other customer systems.
• Manage Linux-based environments, servers, customer instances and internal technical environments.
• Use tools such as Ansible, Bash, Git and Docker to deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and improve our technical setup.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting to ensure stability, availability and operational continuity.
• Investigate incidents, troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement of our deployment practices.
• Manage access rights to customer instances, internal tools, cloud environments and technical platforms.
• Act as a technical point of contact for customers on deployment, infrastructure, connectivity and integration topics.
• Contribute occasionally to internal IT support when infrastructure-related questions arise.

Must-have skills

• Strong knowledge of Linux environments and system administration.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VPN, firewall principles and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to script and automate tasks, ideally with Python, batch scripting and/or JavaScript.
• Practical experience with Docker and Git.
• Knowledge of databases, especially relational databases.
• Ability to deploy, configure and troubleshoot software environments.
• Professional communication skills in French and English.

Nice-to-have skills

• Windows Server administration.
• Gitlab, Nexus, Ansible  or other automation/configuration management tools.
• Azure, AWS, Hetzner or similar cloud/hosting environments.
• Time-series databases such as InfluxDB.
• NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Industrial IT, automation, OT environments, PLCs or production systems.
• Monitoring, alerting or observability tools.
• IT security, access management, SSH, certificates, backups or disaster recovery.
• Experience in a SaaS, industrial software, data or scale-up environment.

You are autonomous, resourceful and able to take responsibility for technical topics from analysis to implementation and follow-up.

You enjoy solving concrete problems in real-world environments and are comfortable working in situations where not everything is fully standardised yet.

You are proactive, pragmatic and flexible. When you identify a risk, a missing procedure, a recurring issue or an opportunity to improve the way we work, you raise it and help solve it.

You have an interest in the industrial sector and in the way technology can help companies improve their operations.

You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are professional with customers, reliable with colleagues and comfortable working in an international context.
